This year's Art Exhibition is by Morrigan

Morrigan is a 13 year old from Adlington who is currently studying at Albany Academy High School.  She showed early signs of artistic ability when she drew an easily recognisable bird on her second birthday. Since then, Morrigan has enjoyed varied creative interests but began to get into drawing seriously in January 2017.  From this point on, Morrigan entered many art competitions, both inside and outside of school, and has won the majority. As she begins to choose her options for GCSE, she knows one thing for sure – she would like to continue with art and is looking forward to a successful career using her skills. Her preferred mediums are pencil (Prismacolor, Faber Castell, Daler Rowney and Caran d’Ache), pen (Posca, Copic and Stylo), and pastels (Faber Castell and Daler).

To see more of Morrigan’s artwork and/or to enquire about commissions, she can be contacted via her Instagram account @ma.drawingss

Please note that as Morrigan is a full time school pupil, she may not be able to answer all queries immediately.
